At September’s #LivTechMeetup we’ll be hearing all about a local #TechForGood project, Safe Steps. Safe Steps uses a digital falls risk assessment tool to help reduce the number of falls in care homes, improving the lives of our ageing population. The Co-Founder & Director of Safe Steps, James Chapman, will be sharing their story & the impact that their technology has had so far.
At our monthly meet-ups, InnovateHer & Agent Academy CIC, will bring you exciting new content, enhanced networking opportunities and of course inspirational speakers to motivate, educate and inspire.
This meet-up is for you if you want to discover what it’s really like to work in the tech and creative sector, would like to network with like-minded individuals, would like to learn about emerging technology, or if you are passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion.
We encourage you to tweet during the event and to tag us using #LivTechMeetup.

We are on a mission to decrease the gender imbalance within the tech industry. We have created an innovative 8-week digital skills school programme for girls aged 12 – 16 and we run workshops designed to inspire and empower women, as well as celebrating and showcasing role models within the sector.
About Agent Academy
Agent Academy is an industry-led, intense and effective leadership development programme. Established as a solution to the issue faced by 16 – 25-year-olds who find themselves, post-higher education, without the skills to begin their careers in the creative and digital industries. As a social enterprise, we are focused on developing values-led, socially aware young leaders who will go on to make a positive impact in their places of work and in society.
