We’re looking for a senior case management developer to join our Technology team and provide technical expertise to our Co-op Legal Services colleagues. It’s a really exciting time to be joining us at Co-op. And you’ll be playing a key part in our journey to transform our legal offering into a leading consumer digital law firm.

In this role, you’ll provide a continuous service for our legal teams. Working in agile methodologies, we’ll look to you to design and deliver a range of solutions and workflows, from software to infrastructure, and work with digital product teams to integrate these new services. What you’ll do

•    design solutions for our legal case management system (CMS) and workflows
•    maintain our CMS (Proclaim) making sure that it’s kept up to date and that we’re following the right procedures to provide optimal service at all times
•    carry out development and coding to help deliver the solutions designed
•    act as a point of escalation for other developers as well as wider Co-op Technology and Legal Services colleagues
•    support the team to migrate applications from physical data centres to cloud infrastructure
•    work closely with senior leaders in the business, challenging decisions where necessary
•    help to upskill and mentor other members of the team
•    collaborate with wider Co-op Technology Team

This role would suit people who have

•    previous experience of case management software development within the legal services industry
•    experience working with complex workflows in a fast-paced environment
•    great communication skills and comfortable challenging / negotiating with senior business leaders
•    an eye for spotting opportunities for continuous improvement e.g. how we can automate processes and looking at the bigger picture
•    the ability to take a concept from design and fully build solutions from the ground up
•    a desire to want to progress your career within case management development
