Your role

In this exciting Cyber Solutions Architect opportunity here at M247, you’ll develop cyber security products and services and play a key role in shaping the strategy and future offerings of the business. You’ll be a key member of our Technology and Innovation Team which focuses on strategy, product and emerging and disruptive technology, with a focus on the customer experience and journey.

 

As the ideal candidate, you’ll an experienced technologist who is passionate and can evangelise cyber security technology. If you want to build and grow a successful security business inside of an established ISP/MSP and can bring high levels of passion, thought leadership and entrepreneurialism we want to hear from you.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • You’ll bring vision and thought leadership along with your industry expertise and work closely with product teams and technical pre-sales, whilst identifying catalyst opportunities to build out new services for our customers.
  • You’ll have full technical design authority for all security products, platforms and services including adherence to architectural principles and service targets, as well as defining the strategic business roadmap for new and existing products, services, and features.
  • You’ll ensure all M247 products and services include a thread of security from the defined strategy and support M247 business risk and compliance in an advisory capacity to maintain security standards (ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, NIST CSF).
  • You’ll act as InfoSec/Cyber SME and mentor for all projects undertaken by the business and as a point of escalation to operational areas of the business to troubleshoot and resolve security issues.
  • You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external partners, suppliers, services providers, and resellers, whilst providing expertise and thought leadership across security, infrastructure, applications in the cloud and DevOps.
  • You’ll support sales, pre-sales and major bids through writing submissions with the bid team and occasionally presenting to clients, develop business case analysis on potential projects and continuously research and identify new security technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

 

Your skills and experience

 

  • Proven in a similar Cyber Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales or Consultant role within large, agile IT enterprise, vendor, reseller, and/or MSP environments.
  • A natural leader, problem solver and strategic thinker.
  • New product development in virtualisation, storage, and networking.
  • Commercial supplier management – driving roadmaps and product capability.
  • Highly astute with an understanding of customer sales cycles and the ability to monetise cloud services.
  • ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials.
